WASAO!!! At Last!
The ugly-cute Fusa-Fusa wanco seemed to be out of our reach that day. We finally stumbled upon his shop but Wasao was riding around in the back of his pickup. However, just as we were ready to leave, guess who showed up...
In Search of Wasao!
After our day at the beach we headed off in search of the ugly-cute dog named Wasao. He is a legend in Ajigasawa. At mere 2 years old he has become an internet sensation, he even has his own photo show up at the Ajigasawa Hall. After an hour of searching we nearly gave up and went home...

Hirosaki seems to have everything, the beach and sea, mountains and snowboarding, festivals, and usually great weather. Just another day in Aomori Prefecture as we took a short trip to the beach.

My Parents came to Japan pt. 1
Well, I finally had my first visitors and it was a wonderful time. They were lucky enough to see the most beautiful time in Hirosaki as well as visit Tokyo and Nikko. The following are pictures of the week they were here.
